- We are now able to accept requests by email. You must register

E-requests registration webpage, or call the library for more

- The library purchased a new television, video and cordless headphones.
Members can now watch one of our videos or one of their own in
the reading room.[04/03]
- In January, the librarians took time to visit the Information
Online Conference [01/03]
- Cochrane Library
is now free to everyone in Australia. The National Institue of
Clinical Studies have developed a user guide [10/02]
- Audio Digest Ophthalmology and Audio Digest Otolaryngology
moved to CD format in 2002. If you want to try the new format,
please contact the library to request
one.
- Thank you to Allergan who have donated the complete 12 volume
set of the 2001-2002 Basic and Clinical Science Course
- Thanks also go to Novartis Pharmaceuticals who have made a donation
of some core text books to the library.
- Victorian Doctors in training gave the library 5 stars in an
HMO hospital survey in March 2002- AMA

"Residents regard the library as the finest eye and ear medical
library in the country"
- Library photocopying fees have been increased from 10c
to 15c (from 20c to 25c for casual users) as of 18 February 2002.
This is due to increases in running costs. Further information
can be found on our fees page.
