Pub Med's New Features

Pub Med has undergone some feature enhancements in the past few months. These are noted below:
· PubMed Cubby has been replaced with My NCBI, a service which personalises your searches. You can register for a My NCBI account.
· When you sign in, tick the box that says, "Keep me signed in unless I sign out". Current Cubby users can use their existing account. You can use NCBI to:
o Save searches
o Spell checking has been added
o Setup email alerts for new content
o Display links to Web resources (linkout). Our library is currently linking our logo to Pub Med journals/issues that we hold. Watch this space for more news on this.
· Checkout the user-friendly changes on the Action bar.
· Do you know about PubMed Central (PMC)? Read all about it.
