Chasing the Sun
- After Hours Reference Service
Finding it difficult at times to get urgent reference
assistance after hours when the library is not manned? An initiative
to address this has just been launched….
The library recently launched a collaborative project initiated
by a Team of South Australian Hospital Librarians and their
counterparts in the UK.

This service is available to clinicians that are members of

Document Supply Request
sent electronically - Convenient alternative
It is much more convenient to email requests for journal articles,
but at times, typing in all the necessary information can be
tiring. The library is offering you a more user-friendly alternative
of filling in the minimum details on a "Request
Article" form available form the Library
website under Services.
However, you will need to register once only for reasons outlined
on the form. The password created during registration is required
when filling out the Request Article form. Please fill
one in and post/fax to us.

National Library and Information
Week: 23 - 29 May
The National Library Week is an annual event that
provides an opportunity for libraries to raise more awareness
of the range of information services available to their clients
or communities. We will celebrating the week by advertising
the initiatives and resources that the library has in place
to make information seeking more user-friendly. Group demonstrations
and individual demonstrations will be available. Daily quizzes
with daily prizes will be posted on the library website. A Quiz
night is also scheduled for Thursday, the 26th of May. To register
your Team (4/team) please contact us.
