New Purchases

The library acquires new titles both print and electronic, based on our Collection Development Policy (available on the library website under Collection), suggestions from library members, publishers' catalogues and benchmarking against other library collections and international standard lists.

Below are some titles that are on order with the expected time of arrival of 3-4 weeks. Please let us know if you would like to borrow any of these on arrival:

Online Training

The library provides onsite Information skills training on how to effectively search databases with the aim of retrieving useful results. We are now working on providing self-paced online training aimed at empowering library users (especially our external users) to be more proficient in conducting searches.

These are available to RVEEH staff and RANZCO Fellows effective from the 2nd March 2007. Please email the library for access details. The library is currently examining the possibility of including this in the portal. Ensure that you read the next isssue of the newsletter for an update.
